(Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.) This petition is filed to condone the delay of 643 days in filing the writ appeal.

2. Heard Mr.R.Sreedhar, learned Additional Government Pleader (P), appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Subramani, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

3. The delay is 643 days. Counter affidavit has been filed and though this petition is opposed, having been satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, we are inclined to allow this petition on terms.

4. A sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only), being the cost, shall be paid by the petitioner/appellant to the respondent through the learned counsel appearing for the respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such payment being made, the present petition shall stand ordered.
