JUDGMENT
[Judgment of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.] The order passed by the learned III Principal Judge, III Additional Family Court, Chennai, directing the appellant to pay interim maintenance in O.P.NO.4681 of 2014 is under challenge in this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal on the ground that the quantum is excessive.
2. We are informed by the learned counsel for the parties that during the currency of the appeal, the matter was settled between the parties and resultantly, the Original Petition in O.P.No.4681 of 2014 was withdrawn. The parties have also filed a joint petition for divorce. In view of the subsequent events, indicated above, nothing survives for further adjudication. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. The Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
