Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of mandamus directing respondents to issue patta after surveying the petitioner's property being the vacant land of house site property comprised in Punjai S.No.265/4 of an extent of 1200 sq.ft. situated at No.63, Tiruttani Village and Taluk, Tiruvallur District by considering the petitioner's representations dated 15.07.2013 and 16.11.2015.

ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. The petitioner would state that she is the absolute

owner of the vacant house site property admeasuring to an extent of 1200 sq.ft., comprised in S.No.265/4 situate at No.63, Tiruttani Village and Taluk, Tiruvallur District, by way of purchase through a registered Sale Deed bearing Document No.1755/1986 dated 29.08.1986 registered on the file of the Sub Registrar, Tiruttani. She submitted an application to the respondents on 15.07.2013 for surveying the property and issuance of patta in respect of the same, undertaking to pay the necessary fees for surveying. Since her request has not been considered, the petitioner sent various reminders to the respondents, the last of which, is dated 16.11.2015. The petitioner has also sent another reminder on 19.07.2016 to the 1st respondent under EGovernance System. Since the petitioner has not been favoured with any kind of response, she came forward to file the present writ petition. This Court heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Chinnadurai, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the 2nd respondent to consider and

dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 16.11.2015 and 19.07.2016 respectively on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
