Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the production of the records relating to the order dated 25.11.2021 made in Memorandum No. 4187 / APD-B1 / 2019, passed by the 3rd respondent herein, quash the same and direct the respondents herein to include the petitioners Registration No. 0100006062 for Original Certificate Verification and permit the petitioner to attend the oral test on 17.12.2021 or any other day as per the Notification No. 34 / 2019 dated 9.12.2019 of the 2nd respondent.

ORDER

When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, the counsels appearing for the parties submit that cause in the Writ Petition does not arise.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the orders of this Court, the petitioner was permitted to participate in the oral test. He further submits that this Court permitted the respondents to declare the results of the said oral test, according to which the petitioner did not fall within the zone of consideration.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that since the petitioner failed to come within the zone of consideration, she was not selected for appointment. Consequently, he submitted that the cause of action in the Writ Petition does not survive.

4. In view of the aforementioned submissions, and since the petitioner, having been permitted to participate in the written and oral tests, failed to secure selection for appointment, this Court is of the view that the cause of action in this Writ Petition does not survive for consideration and as such, no further orders are necessary.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. 10-02-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order DP
