ORDER

This petition is filed for issuing a direction to the second respondent to expedite the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.717 of 2015.

2.Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has lodged a complaint and the same was registered in Crime No.717 of 2015 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 506(ii) IPC and Section 3(1)(x) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. But the respondents have not shown any interest to investigate the same and file a final report. Therefore, he has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief. 3.Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 4.Considering the submissions made on both sides, since the case has been registered for the offences under Sections 147, 506(ii) IPC and Section 3(1)(x) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act., the first respondent police is the competent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

investigating officer to investigate the matter as per Section 7 of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Therefore, the first respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
