ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider petitioner's written representation dated 16.09.2016 for issuance of patta in respect of the land situated in Survey Nos.590, 603 and 604, Siravachur South Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District.

2. In the very affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, the petitioner has averred that the land in question has been classified as 'Odai Poramboke'.

3. As the relief sought for in the writ petition is to consider the written representation of the petitioner dated 16.09.2016, this court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the written representation of the petitioner dated 16.09.2016, based on the Government Order which prohibits issuance of Patta for 'Odai Poramboke' etc., within a period of four months from the date of Page No:2/5

receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petition is closed.
