Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 herein to survey and fix boundaries to the petitioner's land bearing Old Survey No.1050/4 and New Survey No.349/4, to an extent of about 0.22 1⁄4 acres or 0.09.0 hectares, situated at Arasalur Village, Veppathattai South Majira, Veppanthattai Taluk, Perambalur District, based on his application dated 12.07.2024, within the time limit to be stipulated by this Court and further direct the third respondent to provide necessary protection for the same. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to survey his land situated in Old S.No.1050/4 and New S.No.349/4, with an extent of 0.22 1⁄4 acres or 0.09.0 hectares at Arasalur Village, Veppanthattai South Majira, Veppanthattai Taluk, Perambalur District, by considering his online application dated 12.07.2024.

2. According to the petitioner, she submitted online application seeking survey of the above mentioned land on 12.07.2024 and the same has not been considered till date. The acknowledgment furnished in the typed set of papers would indicate that the petitioner has paid necessary charges.

Mr.U.Baranidaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2 would submit that the online application of the petitioner will be considered, on its own merits, within a time frame fixed by this Court, after issuing necessary notice to the interested parties.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the first respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 12.07.2024 and pass final orders, on its own merits, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as other interested parties. 3/5

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
