This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.1931 of 2013 on the file of the respondent police.

2.Heard Mr.J.C.Durairaj, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.M.Mohammed Riyaz, learned Government Advocate for respondent. 3.The presence of the petitioner at the time of occurrence alleged in Crime No.1931 of 2013 on the file of the respondent police is ruled out through information petition had Right to Information Act to the effect that he was on duty through out on such date.

4.Accordingly, Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The proceedings in Crime No.1931 of 2013 on the file of respondent police is quashed.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
