Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to include the name of the petitioner's present wife, Tmt.A.Thulasi, as the nominee and further to include the name of his son, A.Mahesh Kumar, as a co-nominee in the petitioner's service and pension records. The instant writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to include the name of the petitioner's wife, Tmt.A.Thulasi, as the nominee and further to include the name of his son, A.Mahesh Kumar, as a co-nominee in the petitioner's service and pension records.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that to include the petitioner's wife and his son as a nominee and co-nominee in the petitioner's pension order, he submitted a representation on 21.05.2025 to the respondents, the same is pending.

3.At this juncture, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that they will consider the representation of the petitioner, within a specified time limit.

In view of the submission made by the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.05.2025 and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
