PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to survey the measurement of petitioner's property situated at Padiyanallur Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District in New Survey No.158/4A1D and total extent of 3545 square feet in vide document No.1133/ 2004 on the file of Sub-Registrar office, Redhills, Tiruvallur District and pursuant to the petitioners representation dated 12.08.2024.

O R D E R

By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to respondents to survey his property situated in New Survey No.158/4A1D at Padiyanallur Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District by considering his representation dated 12.08.2024.

3. According to the petitioner, he got right over the above mentioned property under registered settlement deed dated 28.03.2004 and thereafter, the mutation of revenue records had taken place in his name. The petitioner submitted an online application on 30.07.2024 seeking survey of the above mentioned land and the same has not been considered. Hence, he is before this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate, who is taking notice for the respondents 1 and 2, submitted that the online application of the petitioner dated 30.07.2024 will be considered on its' own merits within a time fixed by this Court.

5. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the online application dated 30.07.2024 and pass final orders on its' own merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 23.09.2024 Index : Yes/No nr 3/4
