Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to give priority to the petitioner to participate in the general transfer counselling soon after the promotion counselling for PG Assistants for promotion as Headmasters re-scheduled for a later date pursuant to G.O(ID) No. 244, School Education (Pa.Ka. 5 (1) Department, dated 05.07.2019 is held before the general transfer counselling is conducted for the PG Teachers working in Government and Municipality High Schools originally scheduled for the afternoon of 10.07.2019.

The prayer sought for in the Writ Petition is to direct the respondents to give priority to the petitioner to participate in the general transfer counselling soon after the promotion counselling for PG Assistants for promotion as Headmasters rescheduled for a later date pursuant to G.O(ID) No. 244, School Education (Pa.Ka. 5 (1) Department, dated 05.07.2019 is held before the general transfer counselling is conducted for the PG Teachers working in Government and Municipality High Schools originally scheduled for the afternoon of 10.07.2019.
2. Heard both sides and perused the documents available on records.
3. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the prayer sought for in the present writ petition has become infructuous and nothing survives for adjudication and also made an endorsement to that effect.
4. Recording the submissions made by the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner, the writ petition stands closed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed. No costs.
