Crl.O.P.No.24164 of 2022 G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 24.04.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii)(C), 25 & 29(1) of NDPS Act, in Crime No.263 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that petitioner along with an other accused person was found in possession 22 Kgs of Ganja illegally. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that he is ready and willing to abide any stringent conditions that may imposed on him. Therefore, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that there are two accused involved in this case in which the petitioner is arrayed as A2. A1 and A2 were found in illegal possession of contraband weighing 22 Kgs of Ganja. He would further submit that earlier this Court had dismissed the bail petition filed by the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.19432 of 2022 dated 17.08.2022.

5. Considering the nature of offence committed by the petitioner and also taking note of the fact that this Court had dismissed the earlier bail petition filed by the petitioner and that there is no change of circumstances. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 17.10.2022 Lpp
