Respondents PRAYER: Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to pass appropriate orders revising the date of promotion of the petitioner to the post of Head Constable, by upgradation as 01.03.1986 and the date of her promotion to the post of sub-Inspector of Police as 01.04.1996 and on that basis to consequently revise the date of petitioner promotion to the post of Inspector of Police, so as to enable the inclusion of the name of the Petitioner in the appropriate place in the appropriate panel for promotion to the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police and for Petitioner promotion as such, and to grant all consequential benefits to the petitioner.
