The award for reinstatement and the back wages was made on 13.08.2012. According to the learned counsel for the Management, they had been paying the last drawn wages to the workmen under Section 17 B of the Industrial Dispute Act, 1947, from the month of June, 2012.

2.Though, the petitioners herein have claimed for a larger amount, we are of the view, that by way of an interim measure, the Management could be directed to pay the last drawn wages for the period from 20.08.2011 to May 2013. 3.Accordingly, the above petitions stand partly allowed. There shall be a direction to the Management to deposit the arrears of the last drawn wages from 20.08.2011 to May 2013, within a period of four (4) weeks.
