ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to allot MBBS seat to the petitioner's son T.Tanish for the year 2016-2018 under Tamilnadu State Medical Counseling SCA Quota in Tagore Medical College, Tambaram, Chennai wherein the petitioner's son admitted for BDS course for the academic year 2016-2017 through on-line counseling under Tamilnadu State Medical Counseling SCA Quota.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner got admitted in BDS for the academic year 2016-2017 through online counseling. Now he seeks to allot him MBBS seat in the Management quota for the academic year 2016-2017. 4.
According the learned counsel for the sixth respondent, the petitioner has not stated in his affidavit that he has written the NEET examination, which is a basic requirement for admission in the management quota and as such he is not entitled for admission in the MBBS course in the management quota.
5. The learned Special Government Pleader also submitted that the petitioner has not been called for the MBBS counseling because his cut-off mark is 159.25 and more over, the admission for MBBS course for the academic year 2016-2017 is already over.
6. In view of the submissions of the learned Special Government Pleader, as admission for MBBS course for the academic year 2016-2017 is already over, nothing services in this petition and this Writ Petition is dismissed.
