Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Section 11 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents herein for contempt of court for disobeying the order dated 12.09.2023 passed by this Court in W.A.No.1928 of 2018.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was authored by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.) This case is taken on Board. When the present contempt petition was taken up for hearing on 21.03.2025, since there was no representation on behalf of the respondents, we directed the concerned Police Authority to execute a non-bailable warrant to secure the presence of the second respondent before this Court. However, copy of the said order is yet to be uploaded.
2. Today, at the instance of the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, this case is taken up for hearing.
3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents has stated that on 21.03.2025 itself, the application submitted by the petitioner, seeking compassionate appointment, having been considered, the applicant was provisionally selected for appointment to the post of Assessor (Trainee) under compassionate grounds and necessary directions have been given by the Chief Engineer (Personnel) to the Superintending Engineer, Coimbatore Electricity Distribution Circle, North, to issue necessary appointment order to appoint her as Assessor (Trainee) on compassionate grounds and copies of the proceedings, issued by the Chief Engineer (Personnel) dated 21.03.2025, also have been produced before this
Court by the learned Standing Counsel.

We, after having perused the said order, are of the view that pursuant to the order dated 21.03.2025, issued by the Chief Engineer (Personnel), the concerned Superintending Engineer of the TANGEDCO at Coimbatore shall issue necessary appointment order to the applicant/petitioner as Assessor (Trainee) under compassionate grounds forthwith.
5. In that view of the matter, as the orders of this Court having been complied, including the directions which we have issued earlier in this contempt proceedings, we feel that no further adjudication is required in this contempt petition. Hence, the present contempt petition stands closed, by recording the aforesaid developments.
