ORDER
The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, relating to the impugned order proceedings No.ROCH II: 450: HRC:2019 dated 18.06.2019, quash the same as illegal, arbitrary and devoid of merit and consequently direct the 5th respondent herein to permit the petitioner to relieve under Voluntary Retirement Service from the post of Manager Employee No.417123 Syndicate Bank, Regional Office II, Tambaram, Chennai-600 046.
2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is working as a Manager in Syndicate Bank; due to the personal reasons, he wanted to relieve from the service under the Voluntary Retirement Service (VRS) as per the relevant provision and terms and conditions of Voluntary Retirement Service communicated by the respondents. The petitioner's application was rejected on 18.06.2019 on the ground that the vigilance enquiry is pending. Challenging the same, the present writ petition was filed by the petitioner.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it is suffice to issue direction to the 1st respondent to complete the vigilance enquiry within a stipulated time, specified by this Court.
4.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 1st respondent, to complete the vigilance enquiry, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
