O R D E R

The writ on hand has been instituted challenging the proceedings of the respondent in Na.Ka.Number A2/3090/2021 dated 21.01.2022 in respect of refusal of patta for 240 sq.ft and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondent to issue patta for 1203 sq. ft in Block No.12, R.S.No.344/193 and 344/194 comprised in Door No.32/17, ROB 6th Street, Halls Garden, Royapettah, Chennai - 600 014.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the vendor to the petitioner had purchased the land and he is in possession of the documents to that effect.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the Sub Registrar has not provided an opportunity to explain the case of the petitioner.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner reiterates that an opportunity

to submit his explanations would be suffice to meet the ends of justice.

5. In view of the said submission, the petitioner is permitted to approach the Tahsildar, Mylapore Taluk in his office along with the documents in original and explain the facts and circumstances. The respondent shall consider the documents to be presented by the petitioner and take an appropriate decision and communicate the same to the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law.

6. With these clarifications, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
