In the plaint and affidavit in support of this application, it is asserted that the pooja ceremony of the movie PERANPUM PERUNGOBAMUM was held at T.Nagar, Chennai and that the title was registered at T.Nagar, Chennai with the third defendant.

2. Upon examining the plaint, affidavit and material documents, it appears that at least a part of the cause of action arose within the jurisdiction of this Court. Consequently, the applicant is granted leave to sue respondents 1 and 8 before this Court. As a corollary, the Registry is directed to number the suit, if otherwise in order.
