Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to follow rule of Reservation and Communal Rotation as prescribed in G.O.Ms.No.65, P&AR Department, dated 27.05.2009 for the post of Assistant Professor for the selection conducted by the 2nd respondent by its Notification dated 28.05.2013 and select the petitioner at 132 Communal Rotation Point which is meant for Schedule Caste Arundhathiyar Community on preferential basis and appoint the petitioner as Assistant Professor in Chemistry in Tamil Nadu Collegiate Education services with all benefits.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to follow the rule of Reservation and Communal Rotation as prescribed in G.O.Ms.No.65, P&AR Department, dated 27.05.2009 for the post of Assistant Professor for the selection conducted by the 2nd respondent by its Notification dated 28.05.2013 and select the petitioner at 132 Communal Rotation Point which is meant for Schedule Caste Arundhathiyar Community on preferential basis and appoint the petitioner as Assistant Professor in Chemistry in Tamil Nadu Collegiate Education services with all benefits.

2.It is reported that the selection conducted by the 2nd respondent by its Notification dated 28.05.2013 for the post of 3/6

Assistant Professor was over by 2014. Subsequently, the petitioner was selected in an aided College. Hence, he is not pressing this Writ Petition.
