Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents herein to release the goods viz. 14 cartons of Plastic Clock, 40 cartons of Decoration Showpiece, 50 cartons of Coffee Cup, 167 Cartons of Photoframe, 26 cartons of Clock Decoration Showpiece, 34 Cartons of candle, 18 cartons of Decoration Showpiece, 33 cartons of Decoration Show piece, 73 cartons of Glass Flower Vase, 90 cartons of Plastic Decoration Showpiece, and 93 cartons of Plastic Shaver, imported vide Bill of Entry No.6674534 dated 09.09.2016, after collecting appropriate duty for the total quantify of the goods except 171 cartons of Needles.

2.The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition to direct the respondents herein to release the goods viz. 14 cartons of Plastic Clock, 40 cartons of Decoration Showpiece, 50 cartons of Coffee Cup, 167 Cartons of Photoframe, 26 cartons of Clock Decoration Showpiece, 34 Cartons of candle, 18 cartons of Decoration Showpiece, 33 cartons of Decoration Show piece, 73 cartons of Glass Flower Vase, 90 cartons of Plastic Decoration Showpiece, and 93 cartons of Plastic Shaver, imported vide Bill of Entry No.6674534 dated 09.09.2016, after collecting appropriate duty for the total quantify of the goods except 171 cartons of Needles.

3.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that during the pendency of the Writ Petition, the case has been adjudicated and an Order-in-Original No.50918 of 2016 has been passed.

4.Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
