By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioners, as children of the late A.Ramanujam, had applied for a legal heir certificate at the Velachery Taluk Office. However, since their permanent address falls under the jurisdiction of Maduravoyal Taluk Office, the first respondent, the Tahsildar, Velachery addressed a communication dated 02.01.2023 to the 2nd respondent, the Tahsildar, Maduravoyal, his counter part, to clarify if any legal heir certificate had been issued to the deceased, A.Ramanujam. It is unknown whether the second respondent provided this clarification. As of today, the petitioner is caught between the two respondents. 3.Mr.C.Kathiravan, the learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent 1 to 3.

4.Heard Mr.Nithyaesh Natraj, the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. C.Kathiravan, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3.

5.The second respondent is now required to address a communication, if any legal heir certificate had been issued to the deceased, A.Ramanujam, at his office to the 3/6

1st respondent within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Whereupon, the 1st respondent is required to deal with the same within a period of four (4) weeks thereafter. 6.This Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly with the above direction. No Costs.
