ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to execute the bailable warrant issued on 18.02.2025 against the accused in STC No.961 of 2022 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate-I, Arakonam.

2. The case of the petitioner is that in STC No.961 of 2023, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Arakonam issued warrant against the accused. However, the said warrant has not yet been executed by the respondent police.

3. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side), on instructions, would submit that on an earlier occasion, a warrant had been issued against the accused, which was executed and the accused was produced before the Court. 2/4

Once again, a warrant has been issued on 17.02.2025 and every effort is being made to secure the accused.

4. It is further submitted that at the present address, the accused is not carrying on any business, but sincere efforts will be taken to enforce the warrant, as the accused is available within the jurisdiction of the Court.

5. In view of the above submissions, the respondent is directed to execute the warrant as expeditiously as possible.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
