ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to rehabilitate the petitioner by providing lighter duty in the present station, namely, Recruit Training Centre (RTC), Avadi, Chennai, so as to enable him to avail medical treatment as enumerated in the Central Reserve Police Force Standing Order No.7/99 dated 06.05.1999.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is not pressing this writ petition and requested this Court to dismiss the writ petition as not pressed.

3. In view of the above submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
