O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction to the respondent to furnish the correct crime number for the petitioner's complaint dated 26.05.2013 and to file necessary final report before the concerned Jurisdictional Magistrate.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that as the petitioner's complaint was not registered even after the direction given by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.19495 of 2013, the petitioner has filed a contempt petition No.2649 of 2013. At that time, it was represented by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) that a case has been registered in Crime No.1133 of 2013 and recording the same, the contempt petition was closed. He further submitted that even thereafter, since no action has been taken by the respondent police to file a final report, the petitioner was forced to file another Crl.O.P.No.9586 of 2014 and the said petition was disposed of by directing the respondent to file the final report. was not complied, the petitioner once again filed the contempt petition and as the final report was filed, the same was closed with a liberty to the petitioner to file a protest application. It is further submitted that when the petitioner went to file the protest application before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Poonamallee, he was informed that Crime No.1133 of 2013 furnished by the then Inspector of Police (L & O) is not correct. Therefore, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for the above said relief. 3.Today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor filed the F.I.R. copy, which shows that the correct Crime number is 1132/2013 and he has also furnished a FIR copy to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4.Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
