Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Declaration, declaring that the impugned letter No.R2/25831/1999 dated 21.05.1999 issued by the second respondent as the one issued without the authority of law, non-est and void ab initio and consequently issue further directions to the respondents to re-classify the property situated at T.S.No.8299, Block No.108A, Door No.73, Bazullah Road, T.Nagar, Chennai - 600 017 from Primary Residential Use Zone into Commercial Use Zone for Information Technology Park.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous and hence the writ petition may be dismissed as infructuous. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the bundle.
