The petitioner, who is arrayed as an accused, was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 29.01.2016 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 341, 294[b], 323, 397, 336, 506[ii] of IPC in Crime No.185 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks bail.

2.Learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] submitted that the petitioner was detained under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate [Criminal side], this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
