For the sake of convenience, the parties will be adverted to as per their rank in A.Nos.4585 to 4588 of 2021.

The learned A.G. & O.T. has filed:

➢A.No.4585 of 2021 seeking permission to take over vacant possession of the premises at Door No.46, Anna Salai, Chennai - 2 through police in the event of the respondent not handing over vacant possession of the same;

➢A.No.4586 of 2021 seeking a direction to the respondent to remove the temporary construction (lift and generator) while handing over the possession;

➢A.No.4587 of 2021 seeking a direction to the respondent to quit and deliver the vacant possession of the subject premises; and ➢A.No.4588 of 2021 seeking a direction to the respondent to pay the rental arrears from January 2021 to November 2021 aggregating to a sum of Rs.19,47,000/- with applicable administrative charges as levied for delayed payment applicable to all the tenants. The respondent, viz., Meco Tronics Pvt. Ltd. has filed A.No.675 of 2021 seeking renewal of the subject property for a further period of five years. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

cad Today, when these matters were taken up for hearing, it was submitted by the learned counsel for the respondent that the respondent is willing to hand over the vacant possession of the subject premises.

In view of the above submission, nothing survives for adjudication and accordingly, all these applications are closed. However, it is made clear that balance rent, if any, shall be paid by the respondent to the office of the A.G. & O.T. and if any advance amount has been paid by the respondent, the same shall be adjusted by the office of the A.G. & O.T. Likewise, the balance amount, if any, payable to the respondent shall be paid by the A.G. & O.T.
