This application has been filed by the Official Liquidator Mr.Ramakrishna Sadasivan to implead him as 2nd plaintiff in the suit in C.S.No.190 of 2008 filed by M/s Surana Industries Limited represented by its Managing Director.

2. The affidavit filed in support of his application reveals that after filing the suit, the plaintiff company has gone into the liquidation and the present applicant has been appointed as Liquidator pursuant to the order of the NCLT, Chennai dated 12.10.2019 in MA/453/2018 in TCP/95/IB/CB/2017. Since the present applicant has entered into the shoes of the original plaintiff by virtue of the order passed by the NCLT appointed him as the Liquidator of the plaintiff company, it is just and necessary to allow the application to pursue the suit. Hence, this application is allowed.
