Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of habeas corpus, to call for the records of the second respondent in connection with D.O.No.63/2019-C2 dated 07.08.2019 and quash the same and produce the petitioner's husband K.Manjunathan, S/o.Kannayiram, aged about 37 years, now detained in Central Prison, Vellore under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in D.O.No.63/2019-C2 dated 07.08.2019 detaining her husband as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.3774 Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 30.09.2019 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
