ORDER

The petitioner is a Trust, which is running a college under the name and style of Sri Nandhanam Health Sciences College. The prayer is for a mandamus directing the sole respondent being the Selection cum Additional Directorate of Selection Committee (Paramedical Courses) to furnish a login for accessing all applications filed for seat allotment, or, in the alternative, to forward daily list of full details of students admitted in the college through the counselling conducted by the respondent. 2.

This writ petition has been instituted on 24.08.2023 and pending the same, the list of students to whom seats in the petitioner's institution have been allotted have been uploaded. As against 27 students, learned counsel for the petitioner would state that only two have reported to the College. He thus apprehends that the remaining seats would be rendered unfilled and a national waste.

Learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the above apprehension is misconceived insofar as there is a third 2/4

round / mop-up counselling scheduled and that time is available till 31.10.2023 for seats to be filled in. Thus let the petitioner inform the respondent forthwith the number of vacant seats available as on date to ensure that those seats are also reflected in third round of counselling to be conducted till 31.10.2023. This direction satisfies the learned counsel for the petitioner and in light of the same no further orders are required.
