PRAYER Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to initiate proceed and complete the proceedings for determination of compensation, solatium etc., under Sec 7 of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act 1997 (Tamil Nadu ACt 10 of 1999) in consistent with Secs 23 and 24 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013 (Act 30 of 2013 ) with regard to acquisition of the petitioners principals land namely building, site bearing Plot No 25 in VGP Jayanthi Town Part II, admeasuring to an extent of 2400 sq.ft comprised in Survey No.
320 / 1 situated at Mathur Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District within the Registration of District of Chengalpattu and in the Registration Sub-District of Sriperumbudur by virtue of show cause notice issued under Sec.3(2) of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act, 1997 vide Oragadam SIPCOT Expansion, Na.Ka.No.07-09 dated 16.12.2009 through Form - A, Industries Department, Government of Tamil Nadu and publish the award in Form G of the said Act within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to initiate, proceed and complete the proceedings for determination of compensation, solatium etc., under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act 1997.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the subject property was acquired by the respondents as early as in the year
2014. However, no compensation was determined till date. Under these circumstances, the Principal, who was the owner of the property, had already passed away and hence, the present petition was filed by the Power of Agent, who is also the daughter of the deceased.
3. On the other hand, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the compensation was determined for the acquired portion of land and also the same was duly communicated to the petitioner. Hence, he would contend that nothing survives in this petition and thus, prays for dismissal of this petition.
4. In reply, the learned counsel for the petitioner requests this Court to grant liberty to make appropriate representation before the respondents for disbursement of award amount.
5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondents and also perused the entire materials available on record.
6. In the case on hand, in this case, according to the petitioner, the subject property was acquired by the respondents as early as in the year 2014. However, no compensation was determined till date. Further, it was brought to the knowledge of this Court that the Principal, who was the owner of the property,
had already passed away and the present petition was filed by the Power of Agent, who is also the daughter of the deceased.
7. On the other hand, today, it was submitted by the respondent that the compensation was determined and award was passed.
8. In view of the above, it is clear that no further order is required in this petition. However, as requested, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to approach the Authorities concerned and receive the compensation by way of filing a representation along with legal heir certificate and other relevant documents.
