O R D E R

This Court, by order dated 06.04.2023 in W.P.No.10736 of 2023, has issued a direction to the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.12.2022 seeking disbursement of the stipend towards the internship underwent by the petitioner after the completion of his post graduation and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

2. The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondent submits that pursuant to the aforesaid order, the Director of Medical Education and Research has requested the Government in its office letter Ref.No.35620/ME2/1/2023, dated 18.10.2023 to sanction a sum of Rs.1,51,500/- at the rate of Rs.42,000/- per month for payment of stipend to the petitioner from the moth of February 2021 to May 2021. As soon as the sanction orders are received from the Government, stipend will be drawn and paid to the petitioner within ten working days from the receipt of the

sanction order from the Government. He further submitted that the balance amount will be paid thereafter.

3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondent, this Contempt Petition is closed.
