ORDER

The petitioner has made a representation to the second respondent dated 29.01.2014 seeking compensation for the land in S.No.263/2A in Thandaraipettai Village, Madurantagam Taluk, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Kancheepuram District. Since no action is forthcoming, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition. 2.In the counter affidavit filed by the second respondent, it has been stated that the said land has been classified as battai. This Court does not want to go into the merits of the case as the petitioner's representation is still pending consideration. Accordingly, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.01.2014 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
