ORDER
By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
The petitioner would state that she had inherited an agricultural land admeasuring to an extent of 1.86 acre comprised in S.No.233/1, situate at Manithaialli Village, Dharmapuri Taluk, Dharmapuri District, from one Mrs.Madhammal through an unregistered Will dated 09.06.2010. After the demise of the said Madhammal, the Will came into effect and since then, the petitioner is in absolute possession and enjoyment of the property. She applied to the respondent seeking patta on 05.05.2016 enclosing all the relevant documents. But, however, the said representation is yet to considered and hence, the petitioner has approached this Court, by filing the present writ petition.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.S.Selvam, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.
This Court, considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 05.05.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and communicate the
decision taken, to the petitioner.
The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
