Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to dispose the petitioner representation dated 18.06.2024 and 08.07.2024 and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 3 to cancel the patta No.1476 issued in favour of sixth respondent.

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to dispose of his representation dated 18.06.2024 and 08.07.2024 seeking cancellation of the patta No.1476 issued in the name of the sixth respondent.
2. According to the petitioner, the property situated in S.No.176/23A at Thanikottagam Village, originally belonged to his grand father and patta for the said property was wrongly given in the name of the sixth respondent. The petitioner submitted a representation before the 2/5
respondents on 18.06.2024 seeking cancellation of the patta issued in favour of the sixth respondent. The representation of the petitioner was forwarded by the third respondent to the second respondent as per the communication received from the third respondent dated 14.08.2024 in his letter in t/jP/k/4142024-M5/ Therefore, it is for the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner.
3. Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 18.06.2024 will be considered by the second respondent, on its own merits, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.06.2024 and pass final orders, on its own merits, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing necessary notice to the petitioner as well as the sixth respondent.
