ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 30.04.2025, passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.13897 of 2025, thereby directed the respondent to register the First Information Report, as directed by the learned XXIII Metropolitan

Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai in Crl.M.P.No.19762 of 2024 and proceed with the investigation against the accused.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that as directed by this Court, the respondent registered FIR in Crime No.252 of 2025 for the offence punishable under Section 420 of IPC. He also produced a copy of the FIR in Crime No.252 of 2025 before this Court.

Recording the said submission, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
