The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents, made a submission that, during the pendency of the writ petition, the departmental disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner was disposed of and consequently, he was exonerated from the charges. Pursuant to the said exoneration, the petitioner was allowed to retire from service and all his terminal and pensionary benefits were also settled. Thus, no further adjudication is required. Consequently, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
