The petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by this Court in Crl.O.P. No. 11502 of 2025 on 29.04.2025, and one of the conditions imposed was that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs. 50,000/- to the credit of Crime No. 416 of 2024 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No. II, Tiruvallur, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 1/3
2. Two months thereafter, the present petition has been filed by the petitioner stating that he has now lost his job and is unable to mobilize the amount of Rs. 50,000/-, and for that reason, he is unable to execute the sureties. Further, it is a conditional order wherein this Court had clearly held that, in the event of non-compliance with the condition and failure to execute the sureties, the bail order would automatically stand cancelled.
3. Since this petition has been filed well beyond the four-week period stipulated in the order, and considering that the matter was transferred on 08.05.2025 and the petitioner filed this petition only on 17.07.2025, this Court grants two weeks' time to the petitioner to comply with the order, failing which the bail order will stand automatically cancelled.
