Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the respondents to remove the petitioner's name from the Rowdy History Sheet to enable the Petitioner to enroll his name Advocate in the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. For Petitioner :

ORDER

The prayer in the petition is for a direction to the respondents to remove the petitioner's name from the Rowdy History Sheet.

2. In this connection, the petitioner has sent several representations and the last of such a representation was made on 06.08.2015 to the first respondent.

3. The removal of the petitioner's name from the Rowdy history sheet is a matter to be considered only by the first respondent by taking into account his past and present antecedents and this Court cannot give a direction to the first respondent to remove the name of the petitioner from the Rowdy History Sheet. Moreover, the petitioner had given the representation way back in the year 2015 and the removal of his name has to be periodically reviewed every year.

4. In these circumstances, the petitioner is granted liberty to make a fresh representation to the first respondent for removal of his name from the rowdy history sheet and on receipt of such

representation, the first respondent shall consider the same, on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.

5. With the above observations, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
