Crl.MP.No.12815 of 2019 in Crl.R.C.SR.No.43287 of 2019 A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J., The criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 81 days in preferring this criminal revision filed against the order passed in C.A.No.179 of 2011, dated 06.03.2019, by the learned Principal Judge, Chennai, confirming the conviction and sentence imposed by a judgment dated 21.07.2009 in C.C.No.55 of 2008 on the file of the Special Court under the TNPID Act, Coimbatore. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the 1st petitioner is a Firm and the 2nd petitioner is the proprietor of the 1st accused firm and aged about 84 years.

Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent.

Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition the petition is ordered and the delay of 81 days in preferring this criminal revision filed against the order passed in C.A.No.179 of 2011, dated 06.03.2019, by the learned Principal Judge, Chennai, confirming the conviction and sentence imposed by a judgment dated 21.07.2009 in C.C.No.55 of 2008 on the file of the Special Court under the TNPID Act, Coimbatore is hereby condoned.
