Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents herein to disbursement his DCRG Rs.5,65,950/- (Five Lakhs Sixty Five Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifty Rupees) as well as Earned Leave Salary along with the interest and grant the Petitioner all consequential benefits based on the Representation dated 15.10.2015.

This writ petition has been filed by K.Murugan, seeking writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 15.10.2015.
2. Heard Mr.V.Karnan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A.Kumar, learned Special Government Pleader, who took notice for the first respondent and with their consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal.
3. The petitioner joined in the service of Chennai City Police as Grade - II Police constable and retired as Sub Inspector of Police in Armed Reserved, Chennai on 31.5.2014. The grievance of the petitioner is that, after his retirement, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
till date the first respondent has not disbursed the DCRG and Earned Leave Salary for which the petitioner has also sent a representation dated 15.10.2015. However, till date the same has not been considered by the respondent.
4. This Court, without going into the merits of the writ petition, considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, directs the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the pending representation dated 15.10.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
