O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the order of this Court dated 16.09.2022 made in W.P.No.25055 of 2022.

2. Today when the contempt petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.D.Veerasekaran, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent / Tamil Nadu Housing Board has submitted that, the order of this Court has been complied with.

3. There were two representations given by the petitioner i.e., 16.03.2022 and 14.07.2022 and both relate to the promotional avenue for the petitioner and that representations since were directed to be considered by the order of this Court, having considered the said representations, an order has been passed by the respondent / Tamil Nadu Housing Board on 26.10.2022, where they have stated the following:

"Your request for the promotion of Executive Engineer will be considered once you complete the degree validity test conducted by AICTE and produce the validation of your Engineering Degree.

Hence, your request for the promotion to the post of Executive Engineer is rejected."

4. In view of the same, since the order of this Court has been complied 2/4

with, recording the aforestated, this Court feels that, the Contempt Petition can be closed, accordingly, it is closed.
