O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to pass orders granting Public Building Licence in Form-D to the petitioner School, based on the inspection report submitted by the Revenue Inspector dated 11.07.2022, in consideration of representation lastly submitted by the petitioner School dated 21.09.2022

to the fourth respondent, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner, in order to get Public Building Licence in a prescribed format by the official respondents, has submitted a representation dated 21.09.2022 to the fourth respondent. In this regard, according to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the inspection was over and therefore, the fourth respondent, who is the authority, has to consider the request of the petitioner made in this regard dated 21.09.2022 and to pass orders. Hence, he seeks a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and to decide the same with regard to granting of Public Building Licence in Form-D within a time that may be stipulated by this Court and in that case, the petitioner will be satisfied.

Heard Mr.R.Kumaravel, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, who would submit that already an online application has been submitted by the petitioner in this regard. Since once again, the petitioner made an application by way of representation, along with the representation, if the petitioner gives any additional documents that will also be taken into account and accordingly, the

representation of the petitioner would be considered and decided on merits and in accordance with law within a time that may be fixed by this Court.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for and having regard to the submissions made on either side, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order: That there shall be a direction to the official respondents, especially, the fourth respondent, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.09.2022 with regard to the plea of the petitioner for getting Public Building Licence in Form-D for running his School called "Zing International Pre School" at the premises concerned and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four [4] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With this direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 30.09.2022
