Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the entire records pertaining to the order of the 6th respondent in Ref.No.6332-1/ 2021/D.3 dated 21.04.2021, quash the same and consequently directing the 6th respondent to recover the amount dues from the defaulted management based on the revenue recovery certificates issued by the 7th respondent as per the provisions of the Revenue Recovery Act, 1890 within the stipulated period preferably within the period of four weeks.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.S.Saravanan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Edwin Prabakar, learned State Government Pleader, for the respondents.

2. The petitioner is challenging the order passed by the Collector delegating his powers with regard to the Revenue Recovery Certificates.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner is not able to point out that the Collector has no power to delegate it to the 6th respondent. It is submitted that there are large number of recovery certificates pending with respondent No.6. If an aggrieved employee who has not received the amount approaches this Court, we will consider his grievance in the appropriate matter.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
