Today, when this criminal original petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai vide order dated 12.05.2022, granted permission to compound the offences and acquitted the Accused No.1 (Kalidhasan) and Accused Nos.2 to 4 (petitioners herein) from the case in C.C.No.2755 of 2021.
2. Recording the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent, this criminal original petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
