O R D E R

[Order of the court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH,J.] The Petitioner, who is the mother of the detenu, viz. L.Rajesh, has come up with this Petition, seeking production of the detenu.

The detenu is mentally unstable and he is stated to be missing from 2017. Though a case has been registered on 06.09.2017, there is no clue as to the whereabouts of the detenu.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that all necessary steps have been taken by the Respondent police to trace the detenu and investigation is going on. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

In view of the above, we are not inclined to keep this Petition pending any longer. However, the Respondent is directed to proceed with the investigation and shall make endeavor to secure the presence of the detenu, and as and when the detenu is found, he shall be produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate.

In the result, the Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
