O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the 1st respondent police to give adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb and to his property situated in S.No.E-6/7/4, Pallapatti Village, Salem District in frontage of 76 Feet at Suramangalam Main Road, Salem. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the respondent police 1 to 3 and Mr.Devaraj, learned counsel appearing for the 4th respondent.

3. Today, when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions would submit that in respect to the representation dated 17.09.2019, given by the petitioner, the 3rd respondent herein initiated an enquiry in CSR No.655 of 2019 and during the time of enquiry, since the dispute having before the 4th respondent is in civil nature, both of them were advised to approach the civil Court. Accordingly, the 3rd respondent closed the enquiry and as of now, no enquiry is pending on the file of the respondent police.

4. Therefore, in the said circumstances, in the absence of any representation, it is not necessary to pass further orders in this application. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
