PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to transfer the case from the 2nd and 3rd respondents to the Special Police or deducting Cyber Crimes in Chennai or any other police to deduct the such a type of crimes as this Hon'ble Court deems as fit and pass such further or other orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in connection with Crime No.8 of 2015 dated 14.08.2015 on the file of the 2nd and 3rd respondents.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the case from the 2nd and 3rd respondents to the Special Police or deducting Cyber Crimes in Chennai or any other police to deduct the such a type of crimes in connection with Crime No.8 of 2015 dated 14.08.2015 on the file of the 2nd and 3rd respondents.

2. It is seen that the investigation in Crime No.8 of 2015 is pending on the file of the 2nd and 3rd respondents. Now, almost four years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now.

3. However, considering that the crime is of the year 2015, the 2nd and 3rd respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.8 of 2015 and file a final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already filed.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
