ORDER

The petitioner/defacto complainant has filed this Criminal Original Petition to direct the respondent police to alter the First Information Report based on the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 02.09.2020, within a time frame stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that the FIR was registered on 02.09.2020, for an https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

offences under Sections 498(A), 294(b), 324 and 506(2) IPC. He further submitted that the investigation is in progress and during the course of investigation, if the respondent police collect sufficient materials, the offences will be altered accordingly.

3. In view of the above submissions, there shall be a direction to the respondent Police to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.03.2021 and continue with the investigation effectively. If the materials collected during the course of investigation made out any offence, the respondent Police to alter the FIR by adding the necessary offences made out. The above direction shall be complied within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
